I used a material called Max Metal. Basically it’s two paper thin sheets of aluminum with a black plastic core. When engraved on, the black core reveals itself making a finished product. It’s very popular in the sign world.
Off camera I added a thin bead of exterior silicone around the circles, then a coat of satin spray poly for shits n giggles…
