1000 Aluminum Sheet Features
♦ This series aluminum sheet, also called pure aluminum sheet, has the highest aluminum content among all the series produced by Mintai. Its aluminum content can be more than 99.00%.
1000 Series: 1050 1060 1070 1100 1200 1235 etc.
♦ As no other techniques are involved in the production, the production procedure is single and the price is cheap. It is a commonly used aluminum sheet in conventional industries.
♦ The last two numbers in the serial number are used to determine the lowest aluminum content of this series. For example, in the 1050 series, the last two numbers are 50 and according to the corresponding international standard, the aluminum content has to reach 99.5% or more. In GB/T3880-2006, the technical standard of aluminum alloy in China, 1050 series also means the aluminum content has to reach 99.5%. 1967 Corvette LS7 454 Guldstrand/Super Chevy Project Car Stock #2109 Yellow exterior with Black stinger, code correct Black vinyl interior. Built 500hp 454ci LS7 GM long block, 4 speed manual transmission. If documentation is king, then this car is a god among Corvettes — this beastly big block was a Super Chevy project car in 1991, with the installation of nearly all of its go-fast parts documented in several issues of the magazine. The original intention of this project car was to build a classic style Corvette for the 90s — this included a big block engine with reduced compression ratio to run better on pump gas, and a thorough rethinking of the original suspension. In addition, all of the work that is documented in the magazine is also documented with invoices from Dick Guldstrand, one of the best known Corvette tuners in the world!! This car was treated to a body-off restoration (documented in Super Chevy), with many upgrades to the engine and suspension. Originally assembled on March 14, 1967, this Corvette shows paint that is typical of an older paint job, showing little wear other than a few stress cracks in the typical areas. This paint still shines very well, and is sure to turn heads. This was originally a Rally Red car, unlike many other yellow cars that started out as much less desirable colors such as White or Green. Bumpers were rechromed through Guldstrand in 1991, and are beginning to show some patina. All glass shows correct date codes with the exception of the windshield and the passenger side vent window. Original exterior door handles show a good finish, and function well. Taillights are very nice, with only one showing some hairline cracking. Weatherstripping may be original, and is showing signs of age. This car wears bolt-on aluminum wheels, which are in good condition with fair condition center caps. Tires are vintage Goodyear Eagle VR60, and were installed for one of the Super Chevy writeups. These tires show 8/32nds tread remaining in the front, and 6/32nds tread remaining in the rear. The interior of this 1967 Corvette looks to be very much original, including the steering wheel, door panels, and seat covers. All of these items are in fair to good condition, with no rips or tears in the seat covers. Dash pads are in good shape with no cracks, and the center console is in good condition as well. Gauges show no fading, although the lenses are slightly cloudy. Oddly enough, the second hand on the clock is functional, although the other two hands are not. Correct GM seatbelts are in place as well, and the correct loop style carpet is in fair to good condition, showing some light fraying around the edges and minor fading. A Custom Auto Sound cassette stereo has replaced the original AM/FM radio in the car, with no modifications to the dash. A Hurst shifter has been installed in favor of the original shifter. The 454ci LS7 long block in this car shows a K118 casting date, which we believe to correspond to November 18, 1988. Super Chevy documents the purchase of this long block assembly, which was partially disassembled and rebuilt in the magazine, with the compression ratio reduced to 9.25:1 for drivability reasons. A Crane True Roller timing chain was also installed, along with a Crane 214/222 110 LSA camshaft, Speed-Pro main and rod bearings, ARP bolts, new valve springs, McLeod dual disc clutch and aluminum flywheel, Weiand Team-G dual plane intake, Trans-Dapt chrome valve covers, Ultra Flow head porting, Holley 8156 750 cfm carburetor, Flowmaster mufflers, and Hooker coated Super Comp longtube headers. Suspension work (completed by Guldstrand) includes C3 spindles, a-arm bushings, swaybar bushings and links, modified coil springs, and Monroe Formula GP shocks. A new rear leaf spring was also installed, along with new trailing arm bushings. The rear sway bar was removed at that time, as recommended by Guldstrand. Brake work included rebuilt calipers and steel braided brake lines, and an SSBC big block power steering kit was also installed. All of these items are documented by the Super Chevy issues, which will come with the car, along with tens of thousands of dollars worth of invoices from Dick Guldstrand. Body and paintwork is also documented in the magazine. Sidepipes are in place, although Super Chevy installed exhaust out the back as well, which is currently hooked up in favor.
