    BODYWORK/TRIM

    Restored by All Speed Customs in Muskegon Heights, Michigan, this sweet F1 is a solid, well-preserved bowtie that sports many attractive modifications. When the car was still in bare metal, functional ducting was integrated in to it ZL-2-style hood and factory quarter gills. Behind those gills, Detroit Speed mini tubs perfectly complemented a custom rear valance. A hidden wiper system was installed behind a smoothed firewall. And, after everything was test fitted, bright red base was sealed in glossy clear and buffed to a glare-inducing shine.

    ENGINE

    Peer in to the car’s body-matched engine bay and you’ll find a 6.2 liter GM Performance Parts LS376 crate motor that twists stout 10.7 to 1 compression into 480 horsepower and 475 lb./ft. of pavement-busting torque. Straight from the factory, this impressive mill features an LS Hot Cam, rectangular-port L92-style heads, a nodular crank, powdered connecting rods and hypereutectic pistons. For good measure, the builders added coated Dynatech headers, a custom air tube, KWiK Performance brackets and a beefy aluminum radiator that’s backed by a big electric puller fan. And items like a Hydratech brake booster, a CPP master cylinder and Fesler hood hinges add a little form to a lot of function.

    DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION

    Behind that smooth-revving small block, a tough Tremec 6-speed twists power to a 12-bolt Moser axle and friendly 3.55 gears. Beneath that drivetrain, a completely rebuilt suspension employs Detroit Speed subframe connectors and a RideTech Level II 4-link behind RideTech Level II coil-overs, modern power steering and RideTech Level II control arms. At the corners of that suspension, 4 and 6-piston Wilwood calipers squeeze four drilled and slotted rotors. Charred dinosaurs float from the aforementioned headers in to a 3-inch, Mandrel-bent exhaust system, which positions mean Magnaflow mufflers behind an X-shaped crossover. And torque transitions to pavement through polished Boze Lateral Gs, which spin 275/35ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As in front of 335/30ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As.

    INTERIOR

    Behind this panther’s solid-closing doors you’ll find a leather and suede interior that wraps comfortable Corbeau seats in a nice blend of classic flash and modern flair. In front of those seats, a red-stitched Detroit Speed dash hangs Stewart Warner Maximum Performance gauges beside knobs for Vintage Air climate control. Below that dash, premium carpet balances color-keyed mats between a Ringbrothers shifter, a Bowler shift knob and aftermarket foot pedals. And in front of the driver, a MOMO Tuner steering wheel spins around a tilting column.
